Happy Tuesday my cupcakes!
Some little wooden decoupaged houses made from off cuts of wood my Dad gave me when we were in the UK. I think they are still in need of a bit of detail, but cute no? and so easy to do. I got the tutorial from Cloth Paper Scissors magazine May/June issue. Love that magazine!
You basically saw little wood pieces into squares and triangles (or maybe even ask for off cuts at any place they might use wood!!), glue them together, decoupage on any paper, collage or tissue or actual decoupage paper you can get in craft shops. Outline a bit with gel pens, add a couple of coats of varnish and away you go! I’ll post pictures of the finished houses once I’m satisfied with them. I think they’d be really sweet personalised with a name, or house members`names, and favourite quotes. They would make lovely Christmas or house-warming presents, if you have the time or inclination….
I hope this finds you happy and creative-feeling; I’ve been spending way too much time in front of a computer lately and need to heed my own advice. So I’m off to do something with a bag of lemons now!!
